Families with Special Needs Children
Planning for Families with Special Needs
Having raised a child with special needs, I understand the unique challenges facing families that must navigate the web of services, estate planning, and government benefits for their loved ones. I assist in all aspects of estate planning, including specialized trusts and services to preserve benefits.
I also understand the needs of minor children, from education to potential employment and establishing guardianships when disabled minor children reach the age of majority. I have a special place in my heart for families facing these challenges and will provide as much assistance as is needed to help their loved ones lead as full a life as possible.
One of the best things in life is being a parent. But it can also be challenging. When a kid has a disability or special needs, the problems are worse. Thank goodness there are more community tools now than ever before to help parents.

When a family member has special requirements, I want to meet those needs. Families appear in various shapes and sizes, and planning must reflect this diversity. Planning for the support and care of a family member facing extraordinary circumstances is a gift that can assist for a lifetime.
